Gynecomastia Treatment: Male Chest Liposuction Banner

Male Chest Liposuction

Types of Gynecomastia Treated:

Male chest liposuction is great for pseudo-gynecomastia (only fatty tissues) and possibly for grade 1 gynecomastia.

Procedure Overview

We use SmartLipo, a minimally invasive, laser-assisted liposuction procedure. It involves using laser energy to liquefy fat before removal and also stimulates collagen, which helps tighten the skin, enhancing precision and recovery. Patients stay awake during the procedure, which is performed under local anesthesia, ensuring comfort while maintaining consciousness. This approach allows for targeted fat removal, contouring the chest area effectively.

Gynecomastia Surgery

Types of Gynecomastia Treated:

Smart Liposuction and glandular tissue removal is great for grade 1 (in some cases), grade 2, and sometimes grade 3 gynecomastia.

Procedure Overview

Gynecomastia surgery removes excess glandular tissue and fat from the male chest. It can be done by combining laser liposuction and excision of the gland. The excision removes the excess breast (glandular) tissue via a small incision made around the lower nipple-areola complex. The surgery is performed awake.

Types of Gynecomastia Treated:

The chest remodeling/reconstruction surgery targets grade 4 gynecomastia and in some cases, grade 3.

Procedure Overview

Chest remodeling/reconstruction in gynecomastia surgery performed under general anesthesia in a surgery center. It includes liposuction and glandular tissue removal but can be approached in two ways:

Nipple Repositioning: This option adjusts the position of the nipple-areola complex for a more natural, aesthetically pleasing chest appearance. It’s suitable when the primary concern is the misalignment of the nipples due to gynecomastia.

Nipple Repositioning/Nipple Graft + Excess Skin Removal: This comprehensive approach not only repositions the nipples but also involves the removal of excess skin. It’s ideal for cases where significant skin laxity accompanies the enlarged glandular tissue, ensuring a tighter and more contoured chest profile. Chest Remodeling/Reconstruction requires general anesthesia as this is performed at a surgery center only
